Bush's Doctrine
To quote former Senator Lloyd Benson, D-TX.: “I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. You, Senator, are no Jack Kennedy.” George W. Bush is no President Kennedy when it came to inaugural speeches. My opinion of President Bush inauguration ceremony is bias somewhat. The themes were too evangelistic for a diverse nation such as our. I am not sure if we were inaugurating a President of the United States or a coronation of a King or Pope.
Bush’s speech did not rise to the status of greatness and inspiring or directional as to where we are headed as a country. Many foreign governments both friends and foes alike will watch and wait for clarity to this new Bush’s Doctrine.
