The Karl Rove Affair
What Karl Rove did or didn't do is not the issue! Joe Wilson or the unmasking of his wife Valarie Plame is not the real issue. The issues are the circumstances, misinformation, intelligence, and the facts surrounding George W. Bush's state of the union speech in 2003. In other words, the 16 words that was mentioned in the speech. Those words convinced the U.S. Congress, the American people and other around the world that Saddam Hussein had WMD, sorting nuclear materials and by inference indirectly responsible for 9/11. Iraq was invaded and many American military died and wounded along with thoursand of innocent Iraqi.
This war was predicated on the assumption of WMD and this administration vengeance to redeem the honor of thy father George H. Bush and to control the wealth of Iraq oil.
The Karl Rove affair is only fueling this discontent of the American people. Therefore, it is imperative that the people who must demand the truth, justice and change.

How soon the public forgets the WMD lies!
Now, the administration keeps trying to tie the Iraq War to the so-called War on Terror. I suppose if you repeat a lie often enough - as Hermann Goering said - it will be accepted as truth.
