Be carefully What You Wish For
The Bush administration spin is out of control on all politically fronts. In the Middle East for an example, democracy in on a collision course with Islam. Iraq, Egypt, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are dictatorships or Kingdoms. Iran and Palatine territory government, who were elected througt free and fair election by the people are the only two government democratically elected which is diametrically in opposition to United States policies.
It is often said, that you make peace with your enemies and not your friends. The U.S. is in a quandary. We will have to work with the new government, Hamas, or destabilize it. If so, it will prove to our foe and maybe our supporters our real intent in the Middle East. If the U.S. is going to move to a new paradigm from where we are in the world in the eyes of our critic, we will need a change in policy and/or leadership.
