Is America Ready...

Can a woman or minority be elected president of the United States? We will know the answer in 2008. It is irony; we are maybe the only country who designates their people by gender and/or race when electing public officials.

In some countries and less developed democracies and socialist has greater vision than we in electing presidents for generations. There are currently women presidents of: Ireland, Finland, Philippines, Germany, Switzerland, *Georgia, Liberia, Chile, *Israel and India.

This begs the question: What is in our DNA, value system, fairness or reluctant to elect the first woman or black president of the United States? We must be gender and race neutral and choose the best possible candidates with a vision of the country going forward when electing the next leaders in the political process…stay tune.

*Acting president
