A Hand of Peace

President Barack H. Obama’s speech in Cairo, Egypt has presented an opportunity for our friends and foes alike to take solace in peace. The Middle East has fought wars and been in upheaval for centuries. There is know better time then now or before for this region, cradle of civilization, to live in peace and from wars. The president correctly said, “any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail” i.e. Roman Empire, colonialism, slavery, apartheid, etc. History tells us that all great dynasties or powers have collapsed over time. Mr. President: Maybe we can bring about peace in our time with your leadership.
