McChrystal Resign

If what reported in the Rolling Stone article is true, General Stanley McChrystal was insubordinate to his superiors and the Commander-in-Chief Barack Obama. Insubordination is a very serious offense in the military. Anyone who served in the military is aware that violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) and its consequent. In military history, some of our well known generals was reprimanded or force into retirement no matter how great thou are. Presidents Lincoln, Roosevelt and Truman had sanction generals for cause; McChrystal is no exception. The UCMJ does apply to everyone from the lowest ranking private to the highest ranking general. Espirit de corps in the armed forces is essential to maintain good order and discipline he violated that trust. General McChrystal have forgotten the fundamental of military doctrine he learned at West Point: duty, honor and country. He should be reprimand and relieve of command. The president, commander-in-chief, have one choice to accept General McChrystal resignation forthwith.
