Hurray!! Election Finally.

Fortunately, on Nov 2 and 3, it is the end of our democratic system of elections and beginning of the next campaign. Recently, I‘ve returned from a foreign trip who are also having elections. Their campaigns are very very low tech with candidates rally, etc. They do participate!
In this country, it is estimated $3 Billion dollars spent on negative political campaigns and to my knowledge not one political ad I saw dealt with today’s issues of jobs, unemployment, health, war, etc. We, the American people, have elected and re-elected individuals to represent us in Washington to put forward legislations to minimize these problems that affect us all. We did not get into this predicament by accident but by political policies. Therefore, political policies will get us through this with a strong presidency and a compromising Congress. I will not cast disparity on any brand of politicians; however, you should be careful what you ask for. Yet, politicians will come to Washington after the election and put their ideology and power first and country on the ---too do list. I don’t feel hopeful but I am an optimist.
