Mandela (Madiba)

Nelson Mandela affectionately called Madiba by his countrymen has transition into another place…the ages.  Perhaps he is among the greatest mortal person to ever grace this earth because of his visionary to bring equality, civil rights, for his people in a free South Africa and his struggles against apartheid.

Presidents, kings, queens and other world leaders and people of all walks of life, faith, have praise Nelson Mandela for his nobleness to change a nation and in doing changed the world.  Some will call him a terrorist and other will call him a great patriot and freedom fighter.   If so that places him among a list of greats:  George Washington, Mahatma Gandhi , David Ben-Gurion, Martin Luther King, Jr., and other revolutionary leaders.

(Note:  It didn’t take long before the far right wing to criticize Mandela and Obama for honoring him by lowering the flags to half-staff.
