One hundred fifty years ago the Civil War ended in defeat for the South: The Confederate flag have symbolize fear and hatred by many in the old South. Also the flag have signify pride by some, oppression, and slavery by others. The battles won and loss, the blood shredded in honor; however, its fate will tumble down throughout the South just like the Walls of Jericho. The flag will finally find its proper place in the annals of America History where it belong. Now the mission is to heal the nation's wounds and bind together a collective dialogue of reconsideration hopefully. One should not overlook that President Barack Obama's, the first black president of the United States, passion eulogy for Rev. Clementa Pinckney were also a black man in the heartland of the Confederate. This is progress.
