How Will The Bell Toll...
How did the United States image get to where it find itself? President Bush's foreign policy on terrorism Middle East and the war in Iraq is disastrous, and; it has turn us back to the era of the Crusades: Christian and Islam religious wars.
If one list the litany of actions by this country: torture, secret prison camps, holding people without trial, etc, etc., we would assumed that we were talking about the Soviet Union, China or some third world country. No, we are talking about the United States of America. In the face of facts and world opinions, the policy of this administration is to continue to mislead and distort the truth. If the Iraq War end today, we will be worst off now than if Saddam Hussien was in power.
From a personal perspective, I don't feel secure or safe within my own environment. My pessimism for the future of peace is bleak. One can only hope that a solution to this war is found. The outlook doesn't look good.
