Powell Redeem Legacy

President George W. Bush had consulted former generals on Iraq. Obstinately, I am amazed that Gen. Colin Powell, ret. his former Secretary of State were not one of them. Gen. Powell did give the best analysis and performance on Face The Nation on the war in Iraq from either side. In my opinion, Powell redeemed himself from his United Nation speech. He did cover all aspects of the situation from A to Z and convened me; there is no military solution long-term. If…if President Bush does not decide on a strategy in his upcoming speech to the nation, we risk a wider regional war between Shiai and Sunni pulling in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria and Iran.
