Cheney crossed the line
To express my opinion of the Bush's presidential campaign, I have just listen to Vice President Cheney campaign speech: the election of Senator John Kerry on Nov 2 will bring on more terror attacks worst than 9/11. Cheney ran the gamut of Kerry actions out of context. The attacks are all distortions, misleading and reminiscent of the presidential election of 2000.
The people who are behind the Bush campaign machine are a ruthless bunch. What happen to the compassion and change in tone expressed by President Bush?
The war is Iraq is a disaster. Senator Kerry must counter-attack with the tenacity and bravery demonstrated during his service in Vietnam and show this bunch the evils of war.
The only complement which I ever heard a right-winger say: "Thank you for your service to your country." As a veteran, these words coming from them are only to save face, cowardly, and self-serving from persons who never worn a uniform.
My response to them is: Don't hide behind our men and women in uniform but get our front and lead for a change.
