Mark of a Great Nation
When a matter of torture has griped our conscious that is worst then Watergate, The Pentagon Papers, Whitewater or malfeasance of government officials, whereas, thousands of lives have been subjected, it must be thoroughly investigated. The American people of all persuasion felted the urge to act or punish someone after 9/11. However, when our government reassessed the facts and it became clearer too who the perpetrators were, we should have attack the Osama bin Laden(s) of the world and the governments which support them. I’ll say this with sadness, because the resources: billions and lives, spent to kill or capture Bin Laden and the moral trauma this country experienced is not worth it after eight years. But no! We had used 9/11 to attack Saddam Hussein with the emphasis to control Iraqi’s oil wealth and revenge for Bush 41 resulting in the death of thousands on all side. And the world number one terrorist is still free.
So yes, we should have a complete investigation in order for our nation can heal its wounds and face the reality that sometimes great nations can be wrong.
