U.S. and Iran Historist


The United States and Iran have made the first step toward recognition since 1979 at the U.N General Assembly.  There is no way of turning back regardless who are the leader of the U.S or Iran.  Just today President Obama and Iranian President has spoken by phone and the prior meeting by the Secretary of States and minister of Iran confirm the important of this historical events. Obama has listed two obstacles to Middle East solution: nuclear issues and Israelis and Palestinian peace. Iran has its own agenda mainly lifting economic sanctions and isolation. So let us put on the table what is at stake; what is gain by both side:

        1. No nuclear weapons
        2. Cap nuclear program to 20%
        3. Recognition of Israel
        4. Full diplomatic recognition
        5. Denounce support for terrorism
        6. Syria
       2. Iran position:
        1. Lift sanctions
        2. Maintain nuclear program
        3. International recognition
        4. Syria
